From The Father's Heart To Yours: I Am Your Safe Place In the swell of the waves I am a mighty ship beneath you. In the fierce and howling wind I am a wall that surrounds you. In the pounding rain and hail I am a shelter that will not collapse but will remain solid above you. In the swirling floods I am a tower that stands high above the water. In the shaking and shifting sand I am a rock beneath your feet that will not be moved. In the dark tunnels I am the light that goes before you. In the scorching heat of the arid desert I grow up the trees to provide shade and I send a cool breeze to cool your head and I cause the burning sand to bring forth from its hidden depths a stream of cold fresh water to quench your thirst. When the path becomes difficult to travel and the hills and valleys Become treacherous for your feet I am the staff in your hand. Lean on me. I'm strong and solid and I will not break. When you stumble and fall to the ground I lift you up again. I hold you close in my arms and I soothe your hurts. I love you. Rest in me. Rest in my arms and allow me to carry these things for you. When you are surrounded by trouble and an army rises up against you, I stand to me feet. Who will stand against me? Those who accuse you falsely will be exposed and those who speak curses over you will reap the fruit they sow. Those curses will not come to rest on you. Continue to call on me in trouble and see what I will do. Continue to trust in me and I will be your defense. Continue to draw close to me and I will shine bright in you. I have brought you in and sat you down in my most inner room to guard over you and watch over you with a fierce protectiveness. None shall harm you. I hover over you as a mother eagle does her chick. Fall back into my arms and rest your head on my shoulder. Press your cheek against mine and allow my tears to mingle with yours. I am your safe place.

No matter how much we tried, no matter what we do, without GOD, everything would be useless and meaningless. Only in GOD that we could be able to find the answer to our questions, the meaning of our existence and the purpose of our life. So we have to seek first His kingdom, and all shal be added upon us. Only in giving up ourselves to Him, that we could be able to find the real happiness and fulfillment of our lives. So let his will be done.

As I sit here and ponder what I could possibly say to anyone that would encourage and produce a hope within them, I have to look back on my own life. As I think about all that the Lord has done for me it takes my breath away. Honestly, I can say that for everything I've been through in my life, when I asked the Lord to just get me through it, come what may, He so did just that. During times of intense grief when I begged for help and reprieve; He gave it freely and lovingly and faithfully. During times of uncertainty, times of loss, times of hurt, and times of sadness, He was always right there and has brought me through every single thing I've been through on this journey. And in each promised deliverance of reprieve held a joy and a peace that is too sweet to describe. It is so precious to know that when I lay my head down at night that there is nothing that He won't do for me, see me through, love me through, and rebuild and replace in my life with an awesome abundance. All we have to do is truly and totally trust Him and fall into His arms with complete dependence and I can promise that He will carry you. He loves us more than life itself. Dear Daddy in Heaven, What a blessing it is to have You to come to, to love, to trust, to be faithful to; and for You to give us all of that and more in return. Lord, thank You for my sister, Diana, and for all of the joy and sunshine and blessings she has brought into my life. Thank You, Lord, for sending her my way at a low time in my life and that You used her so gently and yet so mightily to manifest Your love to me through her. You are so worthy of praise and honor, Lord. Thank You for all of the times in my life when You've met me right where I was and picked me up and carried me. Oh Lord, bless all that come here in such a sweet aroma of Jesus and may they see Your love and hope and to love You. I love You, Father. May these words offer a hope and peace to someone who reads this and know that these words are really Your words of hope and enouragment! In Jesus' Holy and Sweet Name, Amen and Amen. How to help others communicate their thoughts and feelings:

1) Listen quietly, as you attentively look at them with interest and respect. Show them you really care about what they have to say
2) Acknowledge their feelings by saying a small word here or there as they talk such as "I See...... .Hmmm........Yes..........Ok......That's interesting...........Wow.........Oh" 
3) State back what you hear the other person saying such as:...."What I hear and understand you to have just said is: ......(Then repeat what you have heard them say.)
4) State back what they are feeling such as: "You must be feeling hurt?......or That  must make you feel upset!" 
5)  Let them know that you care and are concerned with their thoughts and feelings such as: "My, that really was a hard thing to go through. Or You are such a nice person and I am sorry you got hurt."
6)  Above all strive to let the love of Jesus shine through your eyes with compassion, such as:  "Well at least I care about your feelings and I know that you’re special.  Remember the Lord loves you and knows how this problem has made you feel.  You are not alone, Jesus truly cares! Need a hug?"

     Note, if any of this touches your heart, please don’t hesitate to share your feelings and hurts with a loved one as soon as you can.  It helps heal our hurts when we share and care through the eyes of Jesus in  with all the love that we have.

A special prayer for you and your church family: 

     Heavenly Father I love you and ask by faith for your protecting armor for these special people. That they may be over comers against the battle with Satan for people's souls. Please give them your truth, righteousness and strengthen their faith daily so that they might stand firm. Equipt them with your knowledge and spiritual wisdom to do and say the right things. Strengthen any doubts the enemy may give to them. I pray that the Holy Spirit fills them with a deeper anointing so that they may fully understand the will of you Lord to win souls for your Kingdom. Have you Surrendered your life to Jesus?

     Sometimes people are so wrapped up in theological, racial or cultural differences, they forget to "surrender" (their all) to Jesus Christ, their savior.  Only when people surrender everything they have, (their thoughts, dreams,  desires and their faith) over to the Lord can they truly be born again.  It means total commitment and a focus upon the things of God.  By surrendering yourself to Jesus, you will be able to love others far more than yourself!  Have you asked Jesus into your life? Have you really asked and said the words out loud?  "Lord I love you, please be my savior!" If you haven't it is not too late, and you are "not" too old.  No matter what you have done, the Lord is righteous to forgive you because He loves you. 
    Don't take your salvation for granted, just because you went to church most of your life for various reasons,  unless you surrendered everything you have over to the Lord, you don't have Salvation.  Take the time now to ask "out loud" for your precious Salvation.  You are so special, and the Lord loves you so very much.  Do it for yourself and for those who love you.  Where will you be spending your eternity?
