13) BEING BORN AGAIN: IS A NEW SPIRIT-FILLED RELATIONSHIP

    GAL. 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

     2 COR. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

     After repentance one must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins, and by so doing they will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

     A spiritual birth takes place at the point of accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  It’s a new kind of birth and it’s very real.  Jesus becomes as real to you as the next person that you can see with your natural eyes.  Your sinful carnal self has died to give you new spiritual life in Jesus.  Your a new creation in Christ and can have the knowledge that you are going to Heaven.  That you have Salvation and will go to Heaven instead of Hell.  The wonderful power of God saves us by changing us into a "Born Again Christian."

14) BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT STILL REMAINS THE SAME

  ACTS 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

   The presence and power of the Holy Spirit Baptism is evidenced through the speaking of tongues.  It’s a spiritual language that comes through this baptism.  When we don’t know what to say or how to pray in a particular circumstance we can speak in tongues.  This allows the Holy Spirit to speak to God directly in our behalf.  We don’t understand what we are saying, but our spirit is edified and blessed as the Lord works through our circumstance for his good.

15) SPIRITUAL GIFTS ARE  BLESSINGS FROM GOD!

  1 COR. 12:4-11Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.  And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

     But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

  But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

   There are special gifts that the Holy Spirit gives to different people, to help the body of believers grow more spiritually in the Lord. A person can have more than one gift at a time but no gift is more important than another.  Building up the church body of believers is the intentions of the Holy Spirit. People must be sensitive to the needs of others and never use these gifts out of vanity and pride.

      Ministering to the body of believers for "their needs" with these special abilities is the unique purpose that the Lord intended for these gifts.

16) "FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT," DEMONSTRATE OUR CHRISTIAN WALK.

     GAL. 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

     All of these wonderful attributes demonstrate the special sweet nature of Christ.  We should desire and pray for these attributes as we learn the Word of God, the Bible.  We begin to manifest them within ourselves as we grow more Christ like.

     When we imitate Jesus, looking through his eyes at the people around us, we begin to show the greatest of these attributes and that is loving our fellow man.  A person who has the "Fruit of the Spirit" is walking with the Word deep down within their heart.  They are not simply following the will of the flesh but the will of the Lord in their spiritual life.

17) ALL SPIRITUAL HEALING COMES FROM THE LORD.

   JAM.5:14-16  Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:  And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.  The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

     The Lord is our healer.  It’s that simple and that powerfully strong.  He loves us and desires us well.  Satan brought sin and diseases into the world.  Because of him we have the sorrows of sins that have, but we do have a Savior that died on the cross for  us.  Jesus Christ took all of our diseases, sins and sufferings upon the cross for us, and because he did we can pray to God to be healed.

18) WATER BAPTISM SETS US APART AS CHRISTIANS

   MATT.28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

    Baptism identifies people with Christian believers.  "It is the exterior, or outward sign of submission to the Lord for what is happening on the inside of the person."  It makes evident what is happening in their internal spirit.  It is to be done out of obedience and faith in our Lord Jesus.  When we are baptized, it demonstrates our willingness to follow the Lord and live his Word in us. (Remember this, the thief on the cross next to Jesus was "never baptised" and he was "still saved."  We receive and perform baptism out of "obedience to our Lord Jesus," and as a witness to the world that we are set apart from them in faith!)

    No matter what your various Christian beliefs are about the "way" a person should be babtized, or how "old one should be" when they are, "it's still baptism." We as Christians can "all agree" at least that it is done with "WATER."

    When people waste time arguing among themselves over "christian" religious differences, their eyes are off of Jesus and winning souls for the kingdom of God. Please let us "love one another," and keep our "eyes upon Jesus" winning  souls for "His" sake. That's really whats important. Loving each other as Jesus would have us do and sharring His precious Word with a spiritually lost world. Let all of the theologions argue this one. Why should we waste our time hurting one another with this argument. Let's bring about healing in our churches with one another over baptism.

    Satan wants Christians to be divided and disagreeing among ourselves in this area of babtism, but we don't have to be. If we are sincerely looking at each other through the eyes of Jesus Christ we can demonstrate Christian love for one another.  If we are seeing each other with all of the love that we have through Jesus we won't waste time hurting each other in disagreement.  Telling people about Jesus' love for them is so much more important. Let's love each other and win souls for the kingdom of God,OK? The key word here is see each other in "love" through Jesus' eyes.

19) WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE PRAYING TO THE LORD GOD!

  PHIL. 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

   The advice here is to cast all of our cares upon the Lord.  We should give him all of our worries and frustrations.  The Bible says that worry is from Satan not from God, so why should we continue to give into that evil trap.  The rule here is, " If we have a worry, then we have to pray to the Lord." Give it to God.  How many times you ask?  Keep praying until you have been able to leave it with the Lord.  Rest your heart in trusting the Lord, he does hear your prayers.

20) JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON FOR HIS BRIDE, THE CHURCH.

     I THESS.4:16,17  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

     Because we believers have the assurance of eternal life with Jesus,we should all take comfort and encourage one another with the reality of death.  He is coming back for "all Christians," (past and present.)  Jesus proved that his Word was true when he arose from the grave and when he said he would come back for his bride the church.  We can have the assurance that he will.

21) WE SHALL ALL STAND BEFORE THE FINAL JUDGMENT OF CHRIST.
    2 COR. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

     All believers must eventually stand before the judgment seat of God and give accounting of the way we have lived.  The more we let Jesus be Lord of our lives and live to do "his" will, the greater the rewards.
