This study "WHY GOD, WHY?" is going to touch your heart in a profound way like no other Bible Study will.  Why, because it is going to hit home, right where your heart is.  Like everyone else from time to time you have wondered "WHY GOD, WHY?"
"Why God are you allowing this terrible trial to happen to me?  Why can't I understand the Whys in my life?  Since I am a Christian.......Why would God let these bad trials and things happen? Why can't I walk through life without pain and suffering? I live a good clean life, I am a good person so ...Why do I have to go through these trials like other people do? It's not fair, and Why don't you Lord stop it? WHY GOD, WHY?"
Someone you know has been hurt in a bad accident or you have and facing death.  The pain is terrible, far beyond what you believe that you can bear and the WHYS start to come into your heart.  A baby dies or a small child has cancer and the "WHY GOD, WHY?"  begins to form in your mind.  It's not fair  but it happens just the same.  Nothing seems to stop it from happening or seems to change the outcome of what you are fearing the most.............maybe loosing a loved one to death.
"WHY GOD, WHY..................I just don't understand.  How can I understand and know the mind of God? What is He thinking, what is He feeling?  I know He sees what is going on but WHY doesn't He stop change what is happening in my life?"
A man watches helplessly time after time as his wife is hurt in car accidents ending up in the hospital.  Over and over again he feels helpless as she becomes sick and hurt from one thing after another...........and he cries, "WHY GOD, WHY?  Why can't I be hurt instead of her?  I love her so much yet she is the one who keeps getting hurt.  WHY GOD, WHY"
A child stands by the bedside of a dying mother or father and cries "Please Lord, I love them with all of my heart, I need them in my life, don't let them die." Death soon comes and the question is formed........"WHY GOD, WHY?"

........See what I mean, it happens to us all from time to time.  Even if we don't speak the words we wonder, is there an answer..............YES!

Anyone of these questions you probably have asked in your heart  (if not out loud)  by voicing these concerns from one time or the other.   You have wondered and asked yourself WHY?  We all have felt frustrations, heartaches, tears and wondered "WHY GOD, WHY?" from time to time but there is an answer.  Yes, there really IS an answer but you will have to stretch yourself to allow the Lord to reveal the truth to your heart.  I am going to share with you some real meat of the Word  Bible teaching but,..... only YOU can allow YOURSELF to spiritually grow, (The choice is yours and yours alone to make.)  Remember if you are not Spiritually growing, you are Spiritually dying!  Challenge yourself to Spiritually grow as we study His Word.
Things are not as they seem!  Try to see things from a spiritual perspective instead of physical or intellectual worldly one.  We see and perceive things in our lives happening one why and in truth, .......hidden invisible things are going on that we don't even know about!  A lot more is happening in the 'spiritual realm'  than we realize or can even imagine.  We in our carnal fleshly eyesight can't possible see as clearly as the Lord can.   Angels and demons are at war involved in a hidden world around us that we for the most part, are not even aware of.  So is the Holy Spirit!  He is talking to us and giving guidance all of the time but so few people take the time to recognize Him talking to them.  Why, because they really need to have a deeper relationship with the Lord.
There is a way to see through the Lord's eyes to get a glimmer of the WHYS in our lives.  We can begin to have a glimmer of Godly wisdom if we search deep enough into His Word and pray for Godly understanding.

LET'S PRAY BEFORE WE REALLY GET STARTED:

Heavenly Father we worship you and glorify your name above all names.  There is no one like you who could truly know how we think and feel.  You our Lord know the very hairs on our head and our deepest thoughts.  Please Lord God reveal to our hearts your truth and Godly wisdom in understanding the "WHY GOD, WHY" in our lives.  Help us to understand you Lord as we study this teaching today.  We thank you for answered prayer and the comfort your Word brings to our hearts.  We love you Lord and in Jesus' Holy name, Amen.

****************

Life's trials are hard to get through and we seldom understand WHY, ......WHY things have to happen the way they do but remember "Things are not as they seem!"  When we realize that the very things that we see are terrible in our  fleshly eyes only to find out later we realize that we were being protected from something far worse or we were need to learn a lesson of life.  What we learn later that the Lord was teaching us something to protect us or someone else from something far worse.  So you see, "Things are not as they seem!"  Dig to grow spiritually by going deeper into the 'meat of the Word, the Bible.'
How does this apply to the "WHYS?"   When we come to understand that if we imitate Jesus Christ in every aspect, then  we can come to have Godly understanding of the WHY'S in life.  His Godly wisdom begins to manifest itself into our lives and the Lord's revelation knowledge begins to make known the "WHYS."

Eph. 4:1-7 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.  But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Eph. 4:22-32 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of the mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.  Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

2 Cor. 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Many Christians know these types of verses and have a general understanding of them but...............they don't quite LIVE  by them.   These are just Bible verses with spiritual meaning is knowledge but not LIFE to them.  (Where is your heart on this subject?)  In other wards they are not living and breathing these precious words into their hearts on a daily basis.  We need to DAILY  IMITATE JESUS IN THOUGHT, WORD, AND DEED.  We also need to surrender all of our pride and ourselves by placing Jesus Christ on the throne of our lives.

If you want to know the mind of God and the "WHYS," then you have to become like Jesus Christ seeing others through His eyes with love and compassion.  Allowing yourself to become immersed in His being so much so that you begin to find that you will want to do His will and not your own.  You begin to find out that God will come first, others second and yourself last.  This is a spiritually healthy attitude!  It's not the world's way,  but it's the Lord's Godly way.  Totally giving up selfishness and self pride placing everything and everyone above you in humility is what needs to be done in order to release the Holy Spiritual moving in your life.
Why am I telling you to do this?  The more you surrender up of yourself to Jesus Christ (You need to be Born-again to do this) you will begin to understand the "WHY GOD, WHY?" of this world.  You will begin to understand the mind of God a little bit more and more as you go throughout your life.  You will begin to look back and see through His eyes "WHY" things have happened in the past the way they did.  Now you may be wondering, how do I do all of this?  Let's look deeper into the Word of God, the Bible for more answers.

I John 2:6 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

We must walk daily like Jesus, striving to become as much like Him as possible.  Asking ourselves this question, "What would Jesus do in this situation?," and then strive to do it.  How do you know how to walk as Jesus?  Let me give some examples to follow:

I.)   LEARN ALL ABOUT JESUS CHRIST!
I John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Pray to the Lord that you learn as much as possible about His thoughts and feelings.  Learn His Word the Bible, then take that Word into your heart for understanding. Challenge yourself to spiritually grow daily in His Word allowing it to fully nurture your soul and fill your being.  Read and study so much until the Word of God begins to become alive in your life like breathing.  (If after doing this you still aren't spiritually where you desire to be,  do a fast coupled with prayer.)

II.)   MAKE UP YOUR MIND NOT TO SIN ANYMORE!
John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Can that be done? Yes, for the most part but you have to work at it and  it does get easier after awhile.   Will you be sin free?  No, as long as you are in the flesh you will always have carnal sin, but you can work at daily surrendering up of yourself and placing Jesus as head your throne.   It takes practice, but it does get easier as time goes on.
If Jesus said, "Go and sin no more!" than it is possible to go and sin no more to the best of our abilities .....but it does take work or should I say constant practice plus changing ones heart.  Carnal sin will always be with this fleshly body (until the rapture of the church) but, living a life constantly striving not to sin is something we can practice and live by.  Certainly a person would be in a lot less trouble if they practiced not sinning.  Think about it!

III.)  TAKE A HARD LOOK AT YOUR CHRISTIAN MORALS!
Psalms 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
How do they stand up to the Word of God? If the words you speak and the actions that you take would not be pleasing to the Lord start to change them and there is no better time than today!  It doesn't matter what your circumstance or age is, you can still change your moral outlook on life.  Just practice it daily seeing people and situations through the eyes of Jesus.  Seeing people through His love and compassion is the greatest gift you can give yourself as well as others.
Think of it this way everything that Jesus is....become!  Read the Bible and you will begin to understand.  Pray daily that the Lord becomes more and more of you and you become less.  Pray that whatever you say and do, it is Jesus speaking through you and that you see others through His eyes of love.  Surrender up everything to become more like Jesus.
Start with your pride and the rest will fall into line easier.  Pride is something that you don't need, get rid of it then things will be easier.  Is that hard to do, yes pride is the hardest thing to give up and you will find that you have pride in so many areas of your life.  Remember this it took humbling your pride to accept Salvation didn't it?  (If you are not saved please contact me, I can help you with that. Click here Salvation Help)  One by one get rid of all of the prideful areas and things will get easier seeing others through Jesus' humble eyes.
Become like Jesus in order to bless others.  Show compassion by helping everyone around you not for what you will gain but because you are looking at people with new eyes, Jesus'.  Allow yourself to demonstrate kindness to the unloved or unlovable.  When you see people through Jesus' eye sight you will find that you are blessing everyone you see with as much love as you have.  It's wonderful and you will find that your whole life will become much happier too.

IV.)  BEAR OTHER PEOPLE'S FAILURES AND MISTAKES....NOT JUDGING ILL OF OTHERS!
Romans 15:1-7 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.  Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification.  For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.  Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.

How quickly we take offense at other people's little discrepancies when we need to be looking at our own wrong doings.  When you bear other people's failings in kindness through the eyes of Jesus then they will in turn love you back.
When wronged, we must be like Jesus by having Godly self-control.  Turning the other check in forgiveness.  Controlling your temper comes easier and easier the more you learn to give up yourself and let Jesus be on the throne of your life.  Again it means giving up pride to gain the heart of God within you.  Go so far as to be the first one to make up even if you were the one wronged.  What does it cost you, pride.....give it up! Let go of your pride and allow God time to handle their pride.  Forgiveness is your responsibility and you need to do it in love!
If someone hurts me I do everything I can to make up with that person.  If they hurt me I go so far to baking them a pie or cake and give it to them with all of the love that I have.  Pride, yes it hurt my pride to do that, but it is better to love the offender than to love the offense.  Try seeing everyone through the eyes of Jesus with his love and you will begin to understand the "WHY GOD, WHY?" in your life.  You will see as time goes by that your own sinfulness and attitudes  have a lot to do with some of the WHYS.  Strive to become pure, clean, wholesome! Purify yourself seeing others through the eyes of Jesus Christ.

V.)  DAILY PLACE JESUS UPON THE THRONE OF YOUR LIFE.
John 15:9-13 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.   If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.   These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.  Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
I Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity (Tremendous  love)  among yourselves: for charity ( This humble love) shall cover the multitude of sins.
Die to yourself daily and allow Jesus to sit upon the throne.  Give up pride, selfishness and everything you have and are to the Lord.  Place a guard over your tongue and guard your actions.  Remember to also control negative emotions that do not conform to the renewing of your mind.

IN CONCLUSION:  When we contemplate the question, "WHY, GOD WHY?" (crying unto the Lord,) we need to consider 1) Learning more about Jesus, 2) Practice not sinning,  3) Cleaning up our morals, 4) Not judging other people,  5) Daily putting Jesus on the throne and.......striving to see everyone and everything through the eyes of Jesus with His love.  Don't forget to include these too:  Prayer,  Worshipping,  Bible Study, Fasting and Seeking daily to grow into a deeper relationship with the Lord.
Things are not as they seem to our worldly understanding but we can better know the "WHYS" in life if we are living as close to the Lord as possible.  (If you think you are close enough......take a better look, you could dig deeper.)   By drawing closer to the Lord in real heart knowledge and spiritual wisdom you can come to a wholesome understanding.  Give up the right to yourself and place Jesus Christ  on the throne of your life.  When you allow Jesus to see people and circumstances through your eyes you will begin to know the mind of God and a deeper understanding of the "WHYS" in your life.
Consider the Lord looking down at our lives like He is looking at the top of a huge finished Tapestry.  He knows what we will do and think from the day we were conceived in our mother's womb till we face judgment.  He knows all there is to know about us and so to Him the Tapestry is complete.   We on the other hand (do to the blindness of sin,) look at our lives through the underside of the Tapestry.  We can only see our lives as  strings (problems) hanging down.  God understands the whole picture but we have difficulty seeing clearly since our eyesight is clouded by carnal fleshly born sin.  By allowing Jesus to see through our eyes at  people and circumstances you can begin to understand (with Godly understanding)  the "WHYS" and trials of life.  We won't completely have full knowledge but we can have a better understanding.
How do you handle these trials of life....move forward in your Spiritual growth!  Challenge yourself to become resolved to do this, give up your life and allow  Jesus Christ to live through you.  Make up your mind to do it beginning today! Starting right now  begin to pray and praise the Lord for what He has been revealing to your heart through this message.  Challenge yourself to give up yourself in every way possible so that you can be able to see everyone and everything through the Lord's eyes.  (Eyes filled with His love, mercy and compassion.) Only by surrendering your whole self over to Jesus Christ (allowing Him to become Lord of your life,) can you truly begin to understand the "WHYS,"  like the trials, problems.  To truly begin to understand true revelation knowledge from the Lord, you have to have a personal relation with Jesus Christ and then see circumstances through His eyesight.

I hope that this Bible Study helped your heart to further understand the Word of God and the blessings that you can have following Him seeing others through His eyes of love.

May you be blessed,
Your Sister in  Christ, Diana Gray.
