Galatians 5:22-25 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.  And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

INTRODUCTION:

What does "Fruit of the Spirit mean?"  Do you ever wonder about the "Fruits of the Spirit" and their meaning? There is a lot of wonderful teachings in these various blessings of the Spirit.  When we accept Jesus as our Savior, the "Holy Spirit" begins the work of changing our sin led lives into "God led" lives.  We are transformed by the renewing of our minds.  Salvation is for anyone who shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus
(John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We are to exam ourselves spiritually just as a physician examines us physically.  What kind of faith do you have?  Are you as much of a Christian as you desire or feel you should be?  Do you have a growing awareness of the anointed presence and power of the Holy Spirit in your life? Are you taking active steps to seek and grow deeper in your faith, and are you allowing the Lord Jesus to look through your eyes at people?
Maturity in the Lord comes about by actively striving toward the goal of Heaven.  God desires us to grow into solid mature believers.  Physical age have nothing to do with it.  This involves your spiritual walk with the Lord.  See the face of God and these things shall be added unto you.

LET'S PRAY FOR SPIRITUAL WISDOM AND GUIDANCE AS WE DILIGENTLY STUDY GOD'S WORD.  MAY THE LORD HELP US TO GROW  IN SPIRITUAL FAITH AND GROWTH.  IN JESUS' WONDERFUL NAME AMEN.

I.  FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT LOVE, DO YOU KNOW WHAT REAL LOVE IS?  The definition of love is a deep affection or extreme fondness for someone.

    A.   What kinds of love are there?
         1)    Love is patient and considerate.  Only Godly love can help us see others with
understanding, waiting for them to grow spiritually in the Lord.
         2)    Love is protecting the other person from harm.  Sometimes even from
themselves.  (You would push a loved one out of the way of a speeding car,
wouldn't you? Well are you willing to do the same for a stranger?)
         3)    Love is forgiving no matter what happens.  (This is the deepest kind of love, to
forgive in the face of the worse offense.  This takes real strength of character to
accomplish and can only come from the Lord.  What is involved here is to love
                 someone more than the offense.)

    B.  What is the greatest Fruit of the Spirit that a person could have? Love!
          1)   It's important to us in our lives.  We need to love as we need to breath.
          2)   Faith is important but without love, it comes to nothing.  For how can you have
faith in the Lord, if you do not love Him first.
          3)    Hope helps but we need love more.

II.  FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT LOVE, SHOULD BE DEDICATED AND FOCUSSED.
Matthew 23:37-39  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.  This is the first and great
commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy
      self.

     A.  Focused at showing love to the loveless and down trodden.  (Back slidden believers
or lost souls needing Jesus to come into their lives.  These people need love more
than anyone and if we don't show them love, they could become lost souls.)

     B. Focused at showing love to our friends and families.  Loving them more than we love
ourselves.  (Sometimes people treat total strangers better than their own families.
Do you know of anyone like that?) Ephisians 5:28-29So ought men to love their
wives as their own bodies.  He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever
yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the
          church.
1.)  Wives need to submit to their husbands and husbands need to cherish their wives
more than themselves.  (I have more writings on this subject coming up soon on the
          internet.)
2.)  Husbands and wives need to care and nurture their relationship in the comfort
and guidance of the Lord.  Providing a shelter is not as great as being the spiritual
leader in the home covering the family with faithful prayer.

     C. Focused at showing love to people who mistreat us and make us cry.  Turning the
other cheek and saying," I forgive you inspite of the wrongs done." (See my
          personal note below!)

III.   FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT LOVE, IS A DIVINE HOLY LOVE FULL OF GRACE.

      A.  Holy love that will allow us the patience to wait on the Lord, and allowing God to be
God in His Holy timing.  My Lord shall supply all my needs according to His riches
and glory.   All things in his good time.  Our job is to put our faith in the Lord,
"trusting him" to do the right thing for us in spite of how things may look.

       B.  Holy love that creates a desire to fellowship with the Lord.  John 4:24 God is a
Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
             1.)  Going to church.
2.)  Praying constantly and meditating upon the things of the Lord.
3.)  Reading and studding His Word the Bible. (Including Bible study material)
4.)  Watching and listing to Godly videos, tapes, television and Christian radio

      C.  Holy love that creates a desire to serve others in as much kindness as you
can.  Unselfishly giving of oneself to help the life of another, is great love.  Only
this kind of love will allow us to fulfill the great commission.  Winning souls for the
              Kingdom of God.

CONCLUSION:   FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT LOVE!  It is total and complete love.  It doesn't come easy and takes a lifetime to submit oneself with humbleness to the Lord.  The responsibility and integrity of believers is greatly called upon.   The life of a believer is challenging yet rewarding when they get to Heaven.   It doesn't happen overnight, and those who diligently seek the face of the Lord praying, can come close to fulfilling the desire of the Lords.  A faithful believer working hard in enthusiasm can accomplish great things in God's Holy love.

If you hurt someone then do everything  in your power to help make amends.  If someone hurts you, bake them a pie, cake, bread, or some cookies and come back with all of the love that you can.  Once I even baked "three" pies for someone.  I will keep showing love back for as long as it takes.  By leaving their sins with them I can face the Lord with my head held up.  We don't have to walk with unforgiveness in our hearts.  Even if they never say they are sorry.  The point is that I come back to them with all the love that I am able to. Am I making this up? No, my special friend.  I really truly am this way.

Give all the love you can and never give up loving!  The Lord loves you and forgave you of your sins, why hold unforgiving in your own hear.  Let it go and allow the Holy Spirit to manifest His love in your life.

LET US PRAY: LORD WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK AND YOUR LOVE FOR US.  HELP US TO GO AND SHARE THAT LOVE WITH OTHERS.  THANK YOU LORD FOR THE FRUITY OF THE SPIRIT LOVE.  WE GLORIFY AND WORSHIP YOU IN JESUS' NAME, AMEN.

God Bless your hearts and may the Word of God greatly enrich your live in His love, Your Sister in Christ, Sister Diana.
