"Give Up And Follow Jesus"

"ALWAYS START PRAYERS OUT BY PRAISING  THE LORD!"

     In other words let go of your individuality and open up the door to real spiritual growth.  You humbly release all of the right to yourself, and surrender everything you are and have to God.  Your pride is the hardest to let go, but you "have to release it," as you give your whole being up to the Lord.  Jesus brings freedom, joy and indescribable love bursting from inside of you.  This love, this anointing is transferred to everyone around you, and your prayer life grows deeper.

     Every day say this prayer with all of the humbleness and sincerity that you can taking up your cross and following him.

     "Lord, please fill me with your Holy Spirit.  What ever I say or do today let it be you, and not me.  If anyone sees me today, please Lord let them only see your anointing through me.  May I be your vessel to touch lives for you Lord Jesus.  Praise in your Holy Name, Jesus Christ.  Amen."

     Jesus is with you all day when you give up your life to him each and every day.  He hears your prayers and you feel a deeper relationship with him.

"Asking In Faith, Nothing Wavering"

     We can't expect the Lord to answer every request simply because of "thoughtless utterance.  When we ask with confidence, (exercising our God given authority through him,) our desires and prayers for his good, we receive.  This means that we are making our requests known to him through our faith.

    Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

     This verse can only come true when our prayer of faith lines up with the Word of God.  If we are in disharmony or out of his will, we can’t expect to receive an answer to our prayers.  In other prayers, we simply can’t ask for something that would be harmful or sinful out of our fleshly nature.  As our belief grows and gets in course with his will, when we ask in faith, not wavering, we receive our requests.

     Only by being committed to a firm faith and trust of the Lord’s Word can you avoid being double minded.  Strength of will, not doubting but standing firm in your faith, brings compliance with God’s will.  Being completely convinced that the will of God is highest in your life, will allow you to walk in this kind of strong faith.

    If you have prayed and asked the Lord God for something, and then pulled  back with a doubtful statement like, "I don’t know, maybe it won’t happen, it’s just not going to work out like I would like." You blundered and simply messed  up!  You canceled your prayer out of a negative, disbelief.  Doubting and showing a lack of faith, you missed getting your prayer answered. "Hold tight in your heart your prayers with faith or your prayers will slip right through your fingers. "

    Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

     This means that Jesus is always before the Lord God at his right hand side, and is interceding for us as we pray.  When we pray to the Father God, Jesus is saying please answer them the  way their faithful prayer comes  from their heart.  Your strength of faith believing what you ask for, (when you are right and in God’s will,) you will be heard because…… YOU BELIEVE IT!

     I was seriously sick with Crohns disease and the doctors had given me high doses of medications.  In fact, they had to cut out a golf ball size tumor, off of the side of my neck. The tumor I had received was caused by some of the medications.  I got very fat, really sick and my life was a sad state of affairs. (Crohns disease is a disease of the intestines.  It can cause blockages and abscesses.  Often a person has to have a portions of their intestines removed as the disease progresses.  Believe me it was not a fun experience to go through.) If you know of anyone who has this disease, be kind to them and help in anyway that you can.  It’s very painful!

    Anyway, I had two major surgeries where they had to open up my stomach all of the way.  Ouch, Ouch, Ouch!  The fact is the "first surgery," I stopped breathing for 1 ½ days and had to be on life support.  The Second surgery I was in intensive care because of a bad infection that had to be drained.  Each time I was in the hospital for about two weeks.  Talk about medical bills, we had them.

     I was told that for me, surgery was dangerous and I stood the very real chance of dying.  (If I did I would be in heaven with the Lord, but I felt that the Lord still had things for me to do down here. This ministry for one!) So I began standing on faith believing with every bit of faith that I had that I was well.  I stood on the Word of God and said, "In the name of Jesus I am healed! Satan get your disease away from me, I "am" well and healed!"

     I would not budge or move from that belief.  I knew that I was well even though with my eyes and feelings I felt sick.  I still took my medication, but I stood my ground solidly and with all of the power of strength of faith that I had.  In fact when I prayed I would see myself healed and doing God’s work through the eyes of my faith.  Stubborn, yes you bet I was.  "I refused to let Satan win." My husband and I stood on God’s Word believing that I was healed, prayed,  and believed solidly. (No matter what my eyes saw in the natural.)

     Now there came a time after a very painful episode of stomach pain,  I had to go to the hospital to have them do a scoping procedure.  (They were going to poke holes in my stomach to take a look inside. This was being done to observe what was happening inside of me.) I was going to be in the hospital in the morning and coming out that night.  Not too bad, right? Wrong!

     My husband, Pastor and myself were praying when the hospital staff came in and told me that the Surgeon changed his mind.  He suddenly  decided to cut me wide open again for the third time.  This time he was going to start "removing intestines," and for me this was "very dangerous."

     We all looked at each other and said, "no in the name of Jesus this Crohns disease is healed."  "In the name of Jesus the surgeon won’t even find it because it’s gone!"  I laid back onto the bed as they pushed me into surgery calmly believing that I was healed in spite of how it was looking.  Believing with all of the faith that I had, "seeing myself well."  "I refused to let my feelings rule my faith!"

    As the time went on and while I was in recovery the surgeon came out to my husband and Pastor.  Stunned he said, "IT’S GONE!  THE CROHNS DISEASE IS GONE.  I LOOKED AND LOOKED BUT I SIMPLY COULD NOT FIND IT, IT’S NOT ONLY "NOT IN REMISSION," BUT IT’S SIMPLY GONE!" Everyone said, JESUS HEALED ME, HE ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS! PRAISE THE LORD!

      Many people have heard about this story of healing.  Praise the Lord!  I still had to spend some time in the hospital getting over the surgery but everyone heard of my joy.  Nurses, doctors, visitors, everyone heard about it.  JESUS HEALED ME!  Within a short time I "healed up completely," lost 50 lbs, and am leading a normal healthy life.  Praise the Lord, thank you Jesus!  I have such joy!  It feels so good to be well, not taking medications for that terrible sickness. "FAITH THROUGH JESUS HEALED ME OF CROHNS' DISEASE"

      I can't tell you how many doctors have told me that it really is a miracle.  I've been told that this disease doesn't just go away, but by the hand of God through the shed blood of Jesus dying on the cross it does.  Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus! I will praise the Lord all of my life for this miracle healing.

      Stand firm and trust in the Lord even though what you actually see with your eyes seems totally different then what you are praying for.  Believe firmly no matter what you are emotionally feeling or seeing with your eyes.  Don’t stand your faith on your feelings but on the Word of God.  Believe with everything that you have to believe and visualize the angels doing God’s work at answering your prayers.  You know you get what you ask for because you believe, now see with faith the way that you have prayed, not doubting or wavering.  Believe and see the end results of your prayers long before it happens in the natural.  Believe firmly, not wavering like the sea, driven and tossed.

P.S.  I have a recent up date on the miraculous healing of the Crohn's Disease that the Lord healed.  I had a recent "bad" stumache pain that sent me to the doctors.  Emergency exploratory surgery, and all they found was "adhesions and scar tissue" left over from past surgerys. That's what was causing the recent pain. "Not" Cancer and "Not" Crohns Disease. The doctors were sure they would find that the Crohn's Disease had returned, but they didn't! I'm healed! Jesus healed me completly!

    I'm truly healed!   Praise the Lord, NO MORE Crohns Disease anymore.  Jesus healed me, there is no doubt about it. It is totally gone.  This just confirms again for the second time with surgery, the Lord's work in me.  Praise the Lord!

   The Lord is our mighty healer, and He healed me.  He healed me of a terrible Disease that people don't get healed from, yet He healed me when we prayed the believer's prayers. When we stood solid, not doubting that healing, in spite of what our eyes were seeing and the medicine that I had to take. No matter what, I would not give in and doubt that He would do it.
