PROJECT #1
"RIPPLING PEBBLE MESSAGES"
What happens when a pebble is
dropped into a quite clear lake? It ripples out from a tiny splash
until it becomes large circles in the gently gliding water. That’s
the same way Gods Word and your acts of kindness ripple out. …..So
goes this ministry project.
BASIC IDEA:
1) Make "RIPPLING PEBBLE GIFT MESSAGES." (For
the whole church body)
2) Set baskets out around the church as
a regular item of interest.
3) Low profile items, free for the taking.
4) "Various" Gospel Message and Words of Encouragement
attached to each.
THE PURPOSE:
1) Spiritual in nature while nurturing encouragement
to soul. These are intended to help create a "rippling" effect of
Godly love and good will amongst the church body.
2) To accord people the wisdom of seeing
others through the "eyes of Jesus." (This will bless others as well
as themselves as they begin to share their kindness and brotherly compassion
with each other.)
QUESTION?
What happens when a pebble
is dropped into a quite clear lake? It ripples out from a tiny splash
until it becomes large circles in the gently gliding water. That’s
the same way Gods Word and your acts of kindness ripple out. …..So goes
this ministry project.
ITEMS NEEDED:
1) Printer paper for the notes.
2) Scissors
3) Round paper reinforcement circles (The type
that go on punched out notebook holes)
4) Ribbon
5) Basket
6) Artificial Flowers
7) Aquarium Pebbles (Decorated colorful)
8) Roll out lace material

10) Hole puncher (Hand held)
What happens when a pebble
is dropped into a quite clear lake? It ripples out from a tiny splash
until it becomes large circles in the gently gliding water. That's
the same way your acts of kindness ripple out.
Allow the Word of God to
encourage your heart and share caring love to someone. You'll never
know how far your ripples of tender kindness can travel. Surely to
the very thrown room of God! You're special and so is the compassion that
only you can give to someone. Drop a pebble of kindness today and
watch it ripple your love out!
DIRECTIONS:
Taking
your Scissors cut 6" Circles into the roll
out lace material until you have a sufficient quantify for as many as you
will need. (Count the number of people in your church and double
it. You might want to set these out in the bathrooms or hall ways
for people to freely take and enjoy. Make enough to give to visitors
as well. This project could become someone's ministry within the
body.
Now take a tablespoon amount
of colorful Pebbles and place it into the center of each bag. Gather
and tie a strip of ribbon around each bag close to the pebbles. This
allows a pretty ruffles at the top.
Print out the "Rippling Pebble"
Messages below and cut them out. Fold the top corners into a triangle
and taking your hole puncher, punch out a hole. Tape a round paper
reinforcement circle around each hole for strength. Slip one
end of the ribbon through the hole and tie the ribbon into a bow.
Now decorate the basket with
a string of craft pearls and glue artificial flowers on it. Fill
the baskets and set them out with a sigh for people to take free.
These truly are a blessing to everyone. Enjoy!

RIPPLING OUT WORDS OF KINDNESS…
Proverbs 31:26 She openeth her mouth with
wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
"There really are no strangers,
only loving friends we have not met …yet!" When you come into a room look
for someone you have not met and talk to them. They most likely are
feeling a little scared, uncomfortable and in need of a some or your compassion.
This bit of kindness goes along way in making happy hearts and new, life
long friendships. Let them see Jesus in your heart! .......By

OUT THE GIFT OF LISTENING...
Proverbs17:27 He that hath knowledge spareth his
words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
What a beautiful "gift" listening
is to give! Listening to hear what’s on people's minds and hearts.
Allowing them some loving concern. Really listening,
not interrupting, not thinking and planning a brilliant response.
Someday you will want someone to listen to you. .......By

RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT KINDNESS AND AFFECTION...
Proverbs 22:11 He that loveth pureness of
heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.
Allow yourself to be kind
and generous with warm responses, like gentle caring handshakes, and gracious
sincere hugs. Always consider the other person's feelings above
your own. Be generous with opportune hugs. Spontaneously
give them so that your friends and loved ones will know that you care.

OUT CHEERFULNESS AND JOY...
Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a
medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Share laughter and happiness
with others by having God’s positive attitudes. Remember "Evil communication
corrupts good manners!" Always take care not to offend others but to bring
them joy and happiness. Let your delight in life bring healing
into someone else’s hurting heart! .......By DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES:
RIPPLING OUT COMPASSIONATE NOTES...
Proverbs 22:20 Have not I written to thee excellent
things in counsels and knowledge
The power of the written word can
change thoughts and bring healing into hurting lives. A brief, handwritten
note can touch a heart long after you have given it. "Thank you"
notes or words of encouragement let people know that you love and care
for them. A hidden note for someone to find will be a blessing.

RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT APPRECIATIONS...
Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
Saying something loving
and kind can be such a little thing to do, but you might never know that
the person receiving it may have been hurting badly and needed it.
Let them know that they are special and you appreciate them for who they
are and how they make you feel. .......By DGM

OUT BLESSINGS OF FORGIVENESS
Proverbs 24:17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth,
and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
When you hurt someone, make
amends. When they hurt you, bake a pie. Give it to them
with all love that you have, asking the Lord to bless them. The more
you hurt, the more you need to pray blessings for them. How
long do you pray and bless them? As long as it hurts! This heals
your heart and helps you to forgive them. In time your heart will
feel happy and…. at peace! .......By DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES:
RIPPLING OUT COURTESY & GOOD DEEDS...
Proverbs 22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall
be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.
Strive daily to reach
out to a hurting heart with love and compassion. Ask yourself
if there is someone who could use a kind word or a little help today, and
then go help them. Reach out with all the love that you have and
look for situations to be of comfort and help. Be a Good Deed doer!

RIPPLING PEBBLES:
RIPPLING OUT SENSITIVITY TO OTHERS...
Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but
grievous words stir up anger.
When we consider other
people more highly than ourselves, we will become sensitive to their needs
and desires. Sometimes people need to be alone with their thoughts
and other times they desperately need a gentle loving hug. Care enough
to be sympathetic to their feelings. .......By

RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT GODLY POSITIVES…
Proverbs 31:25 Strength and honour are her clothing;
and she shall rejoice in time to come.
A positive peaceful
heart goes twice as far a negative one! Positive is the woman who
tells another woman (from her heart), that she has great beauty and special
worth. The woman who always sees other women as special sisters and
loves them "more" than her own self, is blessed and filled with true humble
compassion! .......By DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT THE EYESIGHT OF JESUS...
Proverbs 20:29 The glory of young men is their
strength: and the beauty of old men is the grey head.
Looking into
a mirror reveals the imperfections and aged cares of life, but if we love
others more than ourselves and we know Jesus, we will only see beauty in
the mirror. The eyes of Jesus, full of love from our
hearts will give us a true beauty no matter how we are looking even when
age and life take a toll. Pray that people see Jesus today through
your eyes! .......By DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT PRAISE TO THE LORD…
Proverbs 2:4 If thou seekest her as silver, and
searchest for her as for hid treasures;
If you Praise
the Lord when you get up and Praise the Lord when you go to bed at night,
then you had a Good day! There may have been tears and hurts throughout
the day, but if you Praise the Lord you had a Good Day! (This goes
for weeks, months years….etc.) .......By DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT FORGIVENESS…
Proverbs 19:11 The discretion of a man deferreth
his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
Love someone
who hurt you more than you "love the offense" from them. Bless them
with a gift and tell them so! You see, when you "Love your Enemies"
into Heaven, they will become your best friends loving you for all eternity!
Force your inner, spiritual eyes to see the Lord. .......By
DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT SYMPATHY AND COMFORT…
Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain
his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?
When a believer is
hurt and cries, they are closest to God. Remember the Lord
cried too! Tears are only seeds that fall into our hearts,
they water the flowers of inner healing. Take the time
to minister to someone who is hurting. They need your love, kind
words and compassion. .......By DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT THE BEST FROM THE PAST...
Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of
his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
Our families
are many links, however mortal, to the past and to the future. A
Chain that with love, can’t "ever" be broken by death. Take
the best from the past and help bring healing in the future. To live in
hearts that we leave behind, means that we shared something of ourselves
and our love. When we focus on Heaven, we realize that in a
blink of an eye we will be there soon with the Lord! .......By

RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT YOUR LOVE…
Proverbs 17:17 A friend loveth at all times, and
a brother is born for adversity.
Love keeps growing!
The more love that we give, the more love we receive. After a while it
overflows and we feel happy. The more you hurt inside, the more you
need to reach out and give of yourself to others. There are
so many people who need what you have to give and your so very special
to the Lord. When you give Godly love, than you have given
to the Lord too. .......By DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT TIME FOR OTHERS …
Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must show
himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother
Every meal, shared
with someone who is lonely and sad, warms the heart and makes us
glad! Take the time this week to invite someone "new" over for dinner
or go to lunch with them. By sharing a meal with someone you will
be allowing them to get to know you. After all, your really are special
and worth knowing! There are no strangers anywhere, only loving
friends you haven't met….yet! .......By DGM
RIPPLING PEBBLES: RIPPLING
OUT YOURSELF SOME TIME…
Proverbs 25:28 He that hath no rule over his own
spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
A beautiful
sunset can evoke the feeling of God’s presence, and our hearts are
warmed! Take the time to remember that you’re important too and special
to God. Have you looked outside this week or gone for a walk?
Remember to look and see the beauty of the Lord’s creation and feel His
peace. .......By DGM
