John 3:16 -17 For God so loved the world (you and me) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. KJV
The
real reason for this holiday is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ who brought
Salvation to the world. Some people think that Easter is a time to
eat candy, hunt for eggs and have the family over for dinner. Those
of us who are born-again have a "deeper understanding" of this Holiday.
( Jesus said to be born again. A person has to do this in order to
enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.)
The Lord is the creator
of the whole universe. He is calling out to you to come to him.
There is peace, rest and contentment in the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
2) Believe
that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins. Believe
that on the third day He
arose again from
the grave and now sits on the right hand side of the Father to judge at
the
final judgment which
we will all have to face when we die.
3) Confess
and repent of your sins asking Jesus Christ
to come into your life to be your Lord
and savior.
4) Death
and Dying
on the cross is what Jesus did for your sins and that He brought you
Salvation.
5) Eternal life and happiness can be yours. Easter reminds us of that eternal life.
6) Forever Following the Lord can bring you more happiness than you will ever imagine.
7)
God Gave
us a great gift when He sent His only son to redeem the world and to bring
us
Salvation.
7) Heaven can be yours and can bring you more happiness than you will ever imagine.
Jesus is alive! He died arose from the grave. Jesus proved that He truly has the power over death. We too can live again when we die, "if" we have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. It's easy, free and you're never too late or too old for this gift of eternal life. If you haven't accepted Jesus into you're life, do it today, and if you have then praise the Lord! You will have a peace in your life because you know that you are going to Heaven.
"Salvation Prayer"
Lord Jesus, I’ve been a sinner
for as long as I can remember. I never knew the joy that I could
have by accepting you into my life. I know that you hear my prayers.
I need you to be my Savior. You have always been there loving me,
through everything in my life.
Forgive me for all
of my sins. I am so sorry for the way I have acted, and the way that
I have behaved towards you and others. You died on the cross for
me. You loved me that much, how can I ever thank you enough for loving
me like that.
Forgive me for all
of the things that I have done. Please come into my life to wash
away all of my sins. I desire eternal life with you. Be my
Savior and Lord of all my life. I want to be in Heaven with you for
eternity and feel your love. I worship you and thank you Jesus, with
every bit of gratitude and love that I can feel towards you. I love you
Lord Jesus, with all of my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
