Happy Memorial Day!

**********************************
This Memorial Day ask yourself this question, "What can you
do for the Lord as a believer (Soldier) in the Lord's army?

The United States of America has had many wars with soldiers fighting for people's freedom and it's time to remember those who have died in the past to preserve this freedom.   Not only should we remember American service personel who have died but we should also remember that a great many of them were Christian Believers as well.  Believers who would gladly lay down their lives for others.
Please take a minute to stop and thank the Lord for the blessings of their lives given for us.  We know that for those who believed in Jesus we will be able to see them one day in Heaven and have the chance to say,  "Thank you.  Your sacrifice meant so much to me and my family.  Because of you we were able to raise our children in safty knowing that no outside force would hurt them.   As our children were able to go to good schools, we could work in and strive to build a home for our families.  Thanks to you we were able to pick and choose the kind of church we could go to and grow in our faith.  Bless you as you have blessed us."
Just as they gave their lives for us we also should remember that Jesus Christ laid down His life for all mankind.  He loved us enough to make the ultimate sacrifice, so that we through Him might have eternal life in Heaven with Him.  There is a  war that we are fighting right now and that war is against Satan the devil.  The only thing is that this war is world wide in every country and every nation.  People are dying all the time having never accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.   Those of us who are Christian believers need to do everything that we can to win them for the Kingdom of God.  If we say that we love the Lord then we too like the American soldiers who laid down their lives for us, should be willing to lay down our lives to win souls to the Kingdom of God.
Nothing in this whole world is more important than becoming a soldier in the Lord's army.  Take time to pray and ask not what can the Lord do for you, but what can you do for the Lord?  Are you being called but too afraid to answer that ministry call?  Is there 'anything' in this world more important than giving your life in the service of the Lord so that others may live?
Take the time to pray and thank the Lord that we live in a wonderful country where we can live in freedom.  It may not be perfect but count your blessings and thank the Lord for allowing you to be born in such a country as ours.  Because of the men and women who died for our freedom and others we are truly blessed of God. Praise Jesus!

Winning souls for the Kingdom of God is so important for all believers to be involved in.  How many more people would be going to church if you would only take the time to invite them.  There are sooooooooo many lonely people in this world who just need some incouragement from you. It only takes a few minutes to ask someone and you could be saving them an eternity of pain.  Find a Spirit Filled Church, then go and invite someone to come with you.   Love the Lord enough to fight for someone's soul! Become a strong soldier in the Lord's army!  Win one for Jesus!

If there is anyone reading this who doesn't know for sure if they are gong to Heaven I'm an Evangelist, contact me and we can talk. Don't take your Salvation for granted! I love everyone  but more important than my love, is the Lord's love for you.  Just think of how many more people who will love you in Heaven when you have taken the time to ask them to come with you?

May the good Lord Bless and keep you!

President Abraham Lincoln
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania November 19, 1863

"The world will very little note nor long remember what we say here; but it can never forget what they did here. "It is for us, the living, rather, to be dedicated, here, to the unfinished work that they have thus far so nobly carried on.
It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us; that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to the cause for which they here gave the last full measure of devotion; that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain; that the nation, under God, have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."
