God loves me when my heart is sad,
because someone said something bad.
God loves me because I would say,
I'm gonna  forgive them anyway.

God loves me when my life is a mess,
and all I have to wear is an old dress.
God loves me when my hair doesn't shine
maybe because He is so very kind.

God loves me enough to give me a sign,
Jesus' life He would lay on the line.
Tears were shed but His light would shine,
Salvation for me is my Valentine.

God Loves me with all of His heart
even when I haven't done my part.
God loves me for all time and,
I thank Him for my Valentine.

let me feel the pain you feel
every time I step into Your shoes
and try to interrupt and steal

Your ways are so much greater
than I could ever reach
I cannot survive alone
without the lessons that You teach

Take this pride, oh Lord
depress this swell in me
Fill the void instead with love
with a new intensity

Breathe on me again
the Spirit of Your Truth
create in me a clean heart and
wash away my youth

Somewhere in the quiet of the garden I have hidden
there's a small, still place where I can meet you all alone
In your presence, on my knees I bow and surrender
holding out to you everything I own

Take my passion, take my pain
take the bed where I lie at night 
take my children, take the groceries
take the dog, the cat, they're all yours
take the sun in the morning and the rain and the clouds
take the mountains that swell around me

Lord, you can take anything
anything I own, anything You have made
All I ask is that You never take away Your love for me
