Welcome to Diana Gray Ministries
QUICK AND EASY NUTRITIONAL MIX"
Recipes That Benefit The Body

Welcome to my recipe section  of our family "Diana Gray Ministries" recipes on "NUTRITIONAL MIXES."  I sincerely pray that we can be a real blessing to you and your family.  After you have checked out our recipes,  you might like to come back to see the rest of this spirit-filled ministry.  May the good Lord Bless you as you enjoy these recipes.

MATT. 14:19-21 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.  And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.  And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Jesus is a loving Lord who really cares for His children.  You are special and He wants to care for you too.  He helped and fed  thousands of people that wonderful day and He can feed you too.  When you put you faith and trust in Him, he will get you through what ever troubles and trials that you are having.

Faith, prayer and trust are the answers to our troubles when we have Jesus as our Savior and Lord.  Follow Him and you will be well fed, not just in you body but in your spiritual heart as well.  Jesus really loves you.  Your special and your life is important to Him. Enjoy these recipes, they were an inspiration  from the Lord.

FABULOUS CHOCOLATE CAKE

For FABULOUS CHOCOLATE CAKE use 3 3/4 cups of "DELICIOUS BROWNIE MIX", 1 cup of water or milk, 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 1 tsp. baking soda, ½ cup applesauce.  Mix and beat for 3 minutes until nice and creamy. If the batter is not thin enough add more water.  If it’s too thin add more mix until you get the right pouring consistency.
Pour into a lightly greased and floured pan.  Drop flat a couple of inches off of the counter to settle the air bubbles.   Bake in a preheated oven 350* for 20-30 minutes.  The cake is done when it has pulled away from the sides of the pan and bounces back when pressed down upon.  Cool on a wire rack and ice with a chocolate icing.
A great icing for this cake put 2/3 cups of milk, 2/3 cups sugar and ¼ cup of margarine into a sauce pan and boil over medium heat for about 10 minutes, until thickened and bubbly.  Stir into this 1 ½ cups of coconut, ½ cups of chopped pecans,  dash of sea salt or iodized.  Cool until cold. Spread over the cake and enjoy!

Special notes about the ingredients
when used for " food storage."
Evangelist,  Rev. Diana Gray
Copyright (c) 1999-2003 All Rights Reserved

1.)  Powdered milk keeps well in storage and in hard times fresh milk may be unavailable to purchase.  It’s a good supply of calcium.
2.)  Dry Yeast is better for storage purposes than wet Yeast.
3.)  Honey has vitamins and minerals that processed sugar just doesn’t have.
4.)  Whole wheat is better for you than processed white flour but it will spoil so keep it refrigerated.
5.)  Bottled water (sterilized,) is good to keep in storage for hard times.
6.)  The "average American family" has only enough food in storage for "one week." After that they would be in trouble if disasters and hard times hit.  I feel that these ingredients should always be kept on hand for survival if emergency situations arise.
7.)  Calculate what you would need per person for say, three months and buy accordingly for food storage. Place items in air tight containers in a cool place such as a basement.

I  wish to state, that although we should always be prepared for emergencies, I feel impulsive panic preparation is "not" emotionally healthy.  The good Lord  wants us to use the wisdom of prayer first, then react if need be during trying circumstances.  Being prepared with some food storage is one thing, but our eyes must always be upon the Lord as we shop wisely.

Proverbs 15:15 ...but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.

In bibical times people ate foods that were for the most part, still in their natural state.  A diet full of fruits, grains, vegetables, herbs, seeds, nuts and beans will give us better nutrition.  Better nutrition and the Lord,  will help us make it through whatever trials, and troubles that come our way.
If you listen to the Word of God and follow a better eating pattern, then your bodies will be better able to with stand the onslot of worldly problems.  Your minds and bodies will be more in tune with the will of God, as you follow His Word for your life.
