"DRINKS AND BEVERAGES"
Recipes That Benefit The Body

Welcome to my recipe section  of our family "Diana Gray Ministries" recipes on "BEVERAGES."  I sincerely pray that we can be a real blessing to you and your family.  After you have checked out our recipes,  you might like to come back to see the rest of this spirit-filled ministry.  May the good Lord Bless you as you enjoy these recipes.

MATT. 14:19-21 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.  And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.  And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Jesus is a loving Lord who really cares for His children.  You are special and He wants to care for you too.  He helped and fed  thousands of people that wonderful day and He can feed you too.  When you put you faith and trust in Him, he will get you through what ever troubles and trials that you are having.

Faith, prayer and trust are the answers to our troubles when we have Jesus as our Savior and Lord.  Follow Him and you will be well fed, not just in you body but in your spiritual heart as well.  Jesus really loves you.  Your special and your life is important to Him. Enjoy these recipes, they were an inspiration  from the Lord.

***Just a word for a minute, about Oriental type teas and regular type coffees.  They are extremly stimulating.  They have a bad substance in them  from an alkaloid chemical, called Caffeine. Caffeine is bad for your brain, kidneys, and heart.  Caffeine also leaches the calcium out from your bones.

Do you still want your morning coffee?  Ah, but you are trained to want it, don't you?  What if I were to offer you several alternatives, that would make you feel better.  Make you healther over a period of time.
Wouldn't you want to learn to love a better alternative, if you knew that it would be healther for your body?  Would you be willing to try them?  Here are some grain coffees and herb teas that I believe you will enjoy!

Roast 2 cups of Soy Beans, (cleaned and picked through for debris) on a cookie sheet at 200* until they are the nice, dark brown color of roasted coffee.  This will take several hours.  Grind them medium fine with a coffee grinder or your blender to release the flavor.  Tightly store in a cool place to retain the unique flavor.
Boil about 1 quart of water and add 1/2 cup of the grounded beans, adding a dash of salt.  Simmer for about 25 minutes or longer for stronger flavor.  This Soy Coffee can be reheated the next day.
See, and you thought that you couldn’t live without a cup of Coffee from coffee beans!  Well here’s a new one for you and it comes right out of your storage grains.  Serve as you would any coffee, with cream or sugar.

"Super Soy Milk"
A healthy alternative to cow's milk
Evangelist,  Rev. Diana Gray
Copyright (c) 1999-2003
All Rights Reserved
Method # 1 : "Soy Milk"(Don’t use an aluminum pan for this recipe)
Start out with 1 lbs. Of Soy Beans.  Pick through them for debris, wash  and cover with water to soak over night.  Drain the beans and begin to boil them.  After 30 minutes, drain the beans and after again covering them with hot water, bring them to a boil.
When the beans are soft, drain and while they are still warm mash in a blender or food processor.  Place the mashed beans in a pan and pour 4 quarts of hot water over the beans.  Stir for 10 minutes and set aside for 30 minutes.  Stir again and drain, straining the pulp from the liquid off into a pan.  Heat up the "Soy Milk" until you reach a boil and cook for 20 minutes more.  Keep stirring so that you don’t burn the milk.
Sweeten with Sugar, Karo syrup, Molasses or Honey.  Set aside to chill in the refrigerator.

Method # 2:  "Fast Soy Milk"(Don’t use an aluminum pan for this recipe)
Start with 1 lb. Of Soy Flour, 3 quarts of water and bring to a boil and cook 30 minutes.   Drain and strain off the liquid from the pulp into a pan.  Sweeten with Sugar, Karo syrup, Molasses or Honey to taste.   Set aside to chill in the refrigerator.

Method #3:  "Soy Milk with Chocolate"is  a great tasting  milk and is extremely nutritious. (Don’t use an aluminum pan for this recipe) Mix your soy milk with some cocoa and bring to a 2 minute boil.  Chill and enjoy!
****Just a note here, Chocolate (which I love,) has Caffeine that is a stimulate, so some of you might want to substitute "Carob" for a healthier alternative.

Method #4:  "Soy Milk with Carob"(Don’t use an aluminum pan for this recipe)
Mix 1 ½  cup of soy milk to 1 quart of water.  Add 3 tbs. Of honey, dash of Sea Salt or iodized Salt, 4 pitted dates, 1 tea. vanilla, 2 tbs. Oil or lecithin, ¼ tsp. Cinnamon,  and 3 tbs. Carob powder.  Blend it all until it is smooth and creamy.  Chill and drink the same day.

HEALTHY HERB TEAS
Evangelist,  Rev. Diana Gray
Copyright (c) 1999-2003

*****A word here about "herb teas."  You know how you take medicine when you have a headache and it helps during that time period.  The next time that you have a headache, you do the same.  Oh, I know that you have other body aches, but I am just using this as an example.
Well herb teas help build up your immune system over a time period to help your body fight off sicknesses, aches and pains.  You see by using "herb teas" you are actually helping build up you body with vital nutrients and minerals.
I don’t mean that it’s a cure all but if you eat the right kinds of foods high in vitamins and minerals, you will build up your bodies the healthiest way.  The Lord wants us to take care of our bodies.  He wants us to be good stewards of the gift that He has given us, our bodies.  Daily use of herb teas can go along way to help us do just that.
Now go to a health food store and ask for the following ingredients for your storage shelf.  Don’t forget to buy a "tea strainer" from them too.  Bring them home, place them "each alone" into a plastic bag and then into a glass jar to seal airtight.
Buy ½ cup each of the following:  Roasted chicory, Rosehips, Blackberry leaves, chamomile flowers, Spearmint, Peppermint, Red raspberry, Red clover, Alfalfa leaves, Sassafras, and any other type that you might like to try.
Everytime that you have an orange, peal off the peel, shred and start drying them.  Always think first before you through something away!  Are you throwing away something that you could use at a later time?
After drying, place them into an airtight jar and seal.  Here is another way, put the shredded peelings into a plastic bag squeezing out the air, and then putting it into an airtight jar to seal.  Do the same with grapefruit, and apple  peelings.
To make a "Healthy Herb Tea" boil some water first, about 1-2 cups.  Then you take your tea strainer out and place a pinch of different herbs and peelings, (about 1 tsp. total) into it.  This will give you a for a wonderful healthy tea.
Don’t just stick to the same one each time but try different combinations. Also try adding one of the following spices to help add more flavor: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Coriander, Cloves or Allspice.  Add sugar or honey, sit back and relax. Enjoy!

Proverbs 15:15 ...but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.

In bibical times people ate foods that were for the most part, still in their natural state.  A diet full of fruits, grains, vegetables, herbs, seeds, nuts and beans will give us better nutrition.  Better nutrition and the Lord,  will help us make it through whatever trials, and troubles that come our way.

If you listen to the Word of God and follow a better eating pattern, then your bodies will be better able to with stand the onslot of worldly problems.  Your minds and bodies will be more in tune with the will of God, as you follow His Word for your life.

JUST A GENTLE REMINDER, THESE  (C) 1999- 2003 COPYRIGHTED RECIPIES ARE INTENDEDED FOR PERSONAL INDIVUDUAL USE.  DO NOT SELL OR DISTRIBUTE THEM WITHOUT THIS AUTHOR, PASTOR DIANA GRAY'S PERMISSION.  THANK YOU KINDLY FOR HONORING THIS REQUEST.  I GREATLY PRAY THAT THEY ARE A REAL BLESSING FOR YOUR FAMILY.
