     MATT. 14:19-21 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.  And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.  And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

    Jesus is a loving Lord who really cares for His children.  You are special and He wants to care for you too.  He helped and fed  thousands of people that wonderful day and He can feed you too.  When you put you faith and trust in Him, he will get you through what ever troubles and trials that you are having.

     Faith, prayer and trust are the answers to our troubles when we have Jesus as our Savior and Lord.  Follow Him and you will be well fed, not just in you body but in your spiritual heart as well.  Jesus really loves you.  Your special and your life is important to Him. Enjoy these recipes, they were an inspiration  from the Lord.
 


 
GREAT GRANOLA MIX

5 cups quick oatmeal
2 cups of either triticale, wheat, rye flakes or a mixture of all three
( you can find these in boxes at the health food stores.
1 cup of salted sunflower seeds (shelled)
¾ cup of wheat germ
1 ½ cup coconut
2 cups of pecans or walnuts
1/3 cup sesame seeds
¼  cup flax seed
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup oil
1 ½ cup honey
1/3 cup molasses1 tsp. Sea salt or iodized salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cinnamon
     Mix  dry ingredients in a large bowl.  Heat up wet ingredients until dissolved  and pour over the dry.  Mix again until all of the mixture is wetted.  Pour out amounts onto cookie sheets and bake 30-35 minutes in 300* oven.  Stirring often until the texture is dry and crunchy.  Cool and stir into 2 cups of raisins and 2 cup of apricots or dates. 
     Store in an airtight container for up to about 6 months depending how well you stored it.  Makes about 20 cups.  Make the recipe as many times as you like for food storage.
     This recipe is versatile, you can put more flakes in if you like.  Have fun and experiment!

 
Highly Nutritional Granola

 Reg. Amount   / Lg. Quantity.                  for food storage

6-8 cup                   6  lb.                    Quick Oatmeal
1 tsp.                      2 tbl.                    Sea Salt or iodized
¼ cup                      ¼ lb.                    Sesame seeds
1 cup                       1 lb.                     Sunflower seeds
¼ cup                      ¼ lb.                    Pumpkin seeds
¼ cup                      ¼ lb.                    Flax seed
1 cup                       1 lb.                     Shredded Coconut
1 cup                       1 lb.                     Brown Sugar
1 cup                       1 lb.                     Chopped Pecans
2 tbs.                       4 tbl.                   Grated Orange Rind
1 cup                       1 lb.                    Chopped Almonds
½ cup                      ½ lb.                   Wheat Germ
1 ½ cup                   1 ½ lb.                Honey ( More or less to taste)
¼ cup                       ¼ lb.                   Oil

     Blend thoroughly, crumbling well and bake in fair amounts on cookie sheets.  Start out cooking at 350* for 15 min. and then lower the heat to 200* and continue baking until its a dry toasty golden brown. (Not dark)  Stirring every 10 minutes watching that it doesn’t burn.  Add the following ingredients and store in an air tight container.  Keeps well.  Serve with milk (could use powdered milk.) 1 cup Raisins/ dates (both if you like)


 
Highly Nutritional Granola "BARS"

   Mix 8-10 cups of the cooked "Highly Nutritional Granola" recipe above with 1 beaten egg, 1/3 cup milk, ¼ cup honey and press firmly into a well greased 10x15 pan.  Wait ½ hour for the cooked ingredients to soak up the wet. Bake for 350* until nicely browned and dry, checking often.  Ovens may very. Cut immediately into bars, wrap indivudually and store in the refrigerator.

Daniel 1:12,15 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.  And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the protion of the king's meat. (Pulse is vegtables)
1 Kings 13:15 Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

     Modern science and the medical comunities recognize fruits, vegtables and grains as being health.  Modern diets with their high grease content, and convient foods tend to be lacking in proper nutrution.  If we look in the Word of God we can see in many places where the Lord would have us eat healthier diets.  Always try to think before you cook a meal.  Ask yourself, "Is this meal nutritious and healthy for my body? Can I fix and eat something better?"

     If God's Word about food was valid in biblical times, then it's still valid today.  People can live longer, healthier and feel happier when their bodies are in the best of health.  Youthfulness can be obtained by enjoying a better food life style.   When we listen to the Word of God our bodies, (mind, will and emotions) will become healther.  Come strengthen your emmune system with healthier eating, as told to us by the Word of the Lord.  Enjoy these recipes and better health.
