Daniel 1:12,15 Prove thy servants,
I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water
to drink. And at the end of ten
days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the
children which did eat the protion of the king's meat. (Pulse is vegtables)
1 Kings 13:15 Then he said unto him,
Come home with me, and eat bread.
Modern science and
the medical comunities recognize fruits, vegtables and grains as being
health. Modern diets with their high grease content, and convient
foods tend to be lacking in proper nutrution. If we look in the Word
of God we can see in many places where the Lord would have us eat healthier
diets. Always try to think before you cook a meal. Ask yourself,
"Is this meal nutritious and healthy for my body? Can I fix and eat something
better?"
If God's Word about
food was valid in biblical times, then it's still valid today. People
can live longer, healthier and feel happier when their bodies are in the
best of health. Youthfulness can be obtained by enjoying a better
food life style. When we listen to the Word of God our bodies,
(mind, will and emotions) will become healther. Come strengthen your
emmune system with healthier eating, as told to us by the Word of the Lord.
