"Snacks"
Recipes That Benefit The Body
Welcome to my recipe section  about "SNACKS" our family internet web site "Diana Gray Ministries" I sincerely pray that we can be a real blessing to you and your family.  After you have checked out our recipes,  you might like to come back to see the rest of this spirit-filled ministry.  May the good Lord Bless you as you enjoy these recipes.

MATT. 14:19-21 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.  And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.  And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Jesus is a loving Lord who really cares for His children.  You are special and He wants to care for you too.  He helped and fed  thousands of people that wonderful day and He can feed you too.  When you put you faith and trust in Him, he will get you through what ever troubles and trials that you are having.

Faith, prayer and trust are the answers to our troubles when we have Jesus as our Savior and Lord.  Follow Him and you will be well fed, not just in you body but in your spiritual heart as well.  Jesus really loves you.  Your special and your life is important to Him. Enjoy these recipes, they were an inspiration  from the Lord.

SALTED SOY NUT SNACK

Start in the morning with 1 lb. of dry soybeans.  Pick through, rinse and drain.  Cover again with water and set aside for a day or come back the next day.  Drain, then cover the the soy beans well with a good 6 cups of water and set on the stove to boil making them "crisp soft done."  Be careful that they are not fully done or then will mush up on you.  Now you should have about 6 cups of "crisp done beans."  Drain 3 cups in a drain colander and put into a bowl.  Do the rest of the beans the same way.
Roll a few tablespoons  of oil over the beans, salt lightly with Sea salt or iodized salt and pour out onto several cookie sheets to bake at 300* stirring often.  Cooks in about 45 minutes to 1 hour or so.  Check often as you stir.  You want them to be lightly browned and crunchy.  This is a great snack for the whole family and really beats potato chips for nutrition. Taste to see if they need more salt.  Yeilds about 4 1/2 - 5 cups of cooked beans.
Roasted "SALTED SOY NUT SNACK" has half the amount of fat and double the amount of protein of peanuts.  It’s good for your heart and the fiber is much better for your digestive track than potato chips.

NOTE:
ABOUT "HONEY"
Evangelist,  Rev. Diana Gray

PROVERBS 24:13-14 My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste:  So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.
.
Whoever said that sweets aren't good for you was not looking in the bible!  The right kind of sweets can be wonderfully healthy.

Honey provides energy, strength, mental soundness and vitimens.  The Lord took the children of Israeal to the "Promised land," which was called the "land of milk and honey." Honey is really good for your bodies. A supply of some  wonderful honey placed in your food storage pantry, would be wise.

Coming Soon
Proverbs 15:15 ...but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.

In bibical times people ate foods that were for the most part, still in their natural state.  A diet full of fruits, grains, vegetables, herbs, seeds, nuts and beans will give us better nutrition.  Better nutrition and the Lord,  will help us make it through whatever trials, and troubles that come our way.

If you listen to the Word of God and follow a better eating pattern, then your bodies will be better able to with stand the onslot of worldly problems.  Your minds and bodies will be more in tune with the will of God, as you follow His Word for your life.
