BEAUTIFUL EYES LIKE THE DEER
THAT THIRST AND HUNGERS

        Lord, let us see the world through your eyes. Create in us such a hunger and thirst to be filled with your Word.  Like the thirsty deer that goes down to the rippling brook to drink,let us also thirst.  Just as the gentle deer  has to come again and again because it has need of refreshing water, let us too drink of your water of living life.   Let us too hunger for your presence.
   Just as all life on earth has need of refreshing water and hunger for life sustaining food, let us never be satisfied.  Help us to continually grow as we reach out for more and more of the life giving water and food of your Word.  Oh Lord, just knowing that you are there waiting to hear us pray, can give us such comfort.   May your sweet and wonderful presence fill our hearts with your eternal love.  In Jesus name, Amen.
